United Way Day of Caring

United Way of Knox County invites you to Live United by volunteering for a project at one of our Partner Agencies.
On our 7th Annual Day of Caring you may volunteer for one of the following projects:
Camp Kidz – General cleaning to prepare auditorium for camp, some painting and possible yard work
Gordon Behrents Senior Center – Painting, planting/potting flowers, prepping flower bed
FISH of Galesburg -Weigh, sort, and pack food received from the National Letter Carriers Food Drive. (Their busiest time is from 11:30 – 3:00 if you are available in the afternoon.)
Camp Big Sky – Several painting projects from walkways to small sheds
Camp Big Sky – Weed and rake bocce ball court
American Red Cross – assist with smoke alarm installations and educating residents of the importance of having a home fire escape plan
