Junior Lifeguard Training

Learn about a variety of lifeguard skills in our Jr. Lifeguard programs. This one day training provides a broad overview of the types of training done for lifeguards at the City of Galesburg. Participants will complete the water safety sequence, learn about safety and injury prevention around the water, learn about distressed swimmers and active/passive saves, perform various rescues and much more!

The instructor for the training is Cierra Williams. Participants must be comfortable in the water and able to self rescue when more than chest deep.
