Galesburg Regional Concert Band

The Galesburg Regional Concert Band will present it’s Spring Concert Sunday, May 6th at 3:00pm in the Jay Rehearsal Hall at Knox College. Pieces in this concert will include several marches including two from Sousa: March: Untitled and Stars and Stripes Forever. Other pieces will include Clare Grundman’s American Folk Rhapsody and Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in G Minor. We will also feature trumpeter Jeff Davis on Ode for Trumpet by Alfred Reed. A familiar favorite, American Patrol, by F.W. Meacham will also be included.
Come join us for an afternoon of fun music, presented by local area musicians. Freewill donation will be gratefully received for those who are able or willing to give.
