From the ten high school teams during the winter sports season that were voted by their student body and community as FM 95 Hometown Heroes of the Week, on Tuesday morning, March 11, the Galesburg girls basketball team was drawn as our season-ending grand prize winners: Winter 2024-25 Hometown Heroes of the Season with Advanced Plumbing and Mechanical in Monmouth, the Regional Office of Education, and Martin, your local John Deere dealer!
We met up with the Silver Streaks and presented them with a trophy in their honor and a $1,000 check for their high school's athletic department!
