Defensive Driving Course to Be Held

The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau® will be hosting a Defensive Driving Course on June 22nd and 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Farm Bureau® in Monmouth. The course is open to anyone with a valid driver’s license.

Those 55 and over will most likely be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance after completion of this course but would need to check with their auto insurance carrier to be sure. Participants are required to attend both days in order to receive the certificate of completion which would qualify them for the discount.

This course was developed by the National Safety Council and will be taught by Doug Sommer, who worked as a safety educator for COUNTRY® for over 32 years. Doug is an enthusiastic and motivated presenter who delivers a safety presentation with great personal conviction.
