From the ten high school teams that were voted in by their student body and community as FM 95 Hometown Heroes of the Week throughout the season, it was the Galesburg girls basketball team drawn as our Winter 2024-25 Hometown Heroes of the Season with Advanced Plumbing and Mechanical in Monmouth, the Regional Office of Education, and Martin, your local John Deere dealer!
We met up with the team at John Thiel Gym to present the Silver Streaks with a trophy in their honor and a $1,000 check for the Galesburg High School Athletic Department!
