I was surprised late Monday afternoon with a visit from Jason Pritchett and Billy Dean! FM 95 has been playing Jason’s first release, “Good Show”, and the guys just wanted to stop by and say hello as they were passing through Galesburg on a road trip.
Jason has been performing with Billy at the Starlite Theatre in Branson, Missouri. They’ve been writing songs together as well and Jason has just recently released new music on Billy Dean’s record label. So the guys are out on the road meeting geeky radio folks like myself and giving us a chance to hear their new tunes. And I’m liking what I’m hearing!
“Good Show” by Jason Pritchett is a song that he and Billy wrote together. It’s a rodeo-themed song, and Jason sings it from experience as he rode PRCA ranked bulls following high school for several years. The video released for the song has video of Jason from his bull-riding days…a true singing cowboy from Independence, MO!
